Frie Fugle has 35 years of experience in consulting in bicycle infrastructure. We have 100 members and 5 employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Foreningen Frie Fugle works to promote environmentally friendly and local solutions to practical urban and transportation challenges. Each year Frie Fugle gives a prize to the \u00abFree Bird\u00bb of the year, which can be within a number of fields such as sustainable farming, sustainable fishing, integration initiatives or cycling promotion. Frie Fugle particularly supports initiatives that are small-scale and which set out to improve systems bottom-up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In collaboration with Cycling Without Age, Foreningen Frie Fugle helps elderly people who are at risk of isolation by inviting them out on trishaw rides with volunteers so they can feel the wind in their hair and the pulse of their city. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">KEY COLLABORATORS:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Pernille Veders\u00f8 Bussone<\/strong> has a master&#8217;s degree in French and Psychology and experience from India <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-61 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/iesalhama.educacion.navarra.es\/web1\/erasmus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2018\/11\/Friefugle3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/>and Singapore in teaching teenagers in gender equality and sexual health. She is a community captain for the global movement \u00abCycling Without Age\u00bb and a bicycle promotor for Frie Fugle, the association that started the Eurov\u00e9lo project. She uses traditional and social media on a daily basis to highlight the achievements of both associations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Jens Erik Larsen<\/strong>, Frie Fugle founder, is the inventor of EuroVelo project and consultant for several countries. He was nominated for the Nordic Councils Nature and environment prize in 2011, Jens Erik is an expert in urban and traffic planning from the Danish Technical University and has been working on the Eurov\u00e9lo project since it was initiated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Ole Kassow<\/strong>, co-founder of Cycling Without Age. Ole is an Ashoka fellow and a member of the Copenhagen Bike Hub, a collective of bicycle groups in Copenhagen.
