We had the second theoretical-practical course to learn about riding the Yayacleta (Nanacycle) on the 19th of January. Biciclistas de Corella and\u00a0 Alhama High School have purchased this trishaw with the money that has been raised in multicultural markets, sports events like the San Silvestre Run and donations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thirty people gathered in the Youth Center of Corella at 10:00.\u00a0<\/span>First,\u00a0 Cristina Gallo gave a briefing about our Erasmus project and read the first chapter of the trishaw notebook. We learned that ten elderly people had enjoyed the trips with our Yayacleta up to that moment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Twelve people had already done the theoretical part of the course on the 15th of December and joined Juan Luis to do the practical training. The rest, me included, stayed with Cristina and To\u00f1o to learn about Cycling Without Age (CWA).<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end, To\u00f1o proposed a tracking workshop with Quique and Eugenio, our local rangers. We went to \u00abFuente de los\u00a0patos\u00bb (Duck\u00b4s Fountain), a water spring with unbelievable underground galleries. The entrance was so small and narrow that we could\u00a0only enter in pairs. We also tracked footprints, nests, feathers, and traces of other river banks animals.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are looking forward to having the next tracking workshop and to learning to ride our Yayacleta.<\/p>\n
