Along a 5 km-stretch located 50 km North of Copenhagen you find three small villages. However, the cars have now taken over the road and made it difficult to travel on foot and by bicycle. But now the residents have had enough and on October 13, 2021, 75 persons walked in demonstration. The police went in front and behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large part of the procession consisted of children and young people from the school, which is located on the stretch. The children carried signs: \u201cno to more blood on the road\u201d, \u201csoft road users, not dead road users\u201d, \u201cbike path now\u201d, \u201cthe road free of trucks\u201d;, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the requests we made:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-We will be able to walk and cycle along \/ on the road without being nervous about<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ourselves or our children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-It must be safe and secure to get to the bus and train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-School children, riders, forest guests, etc. must be able to cross the road without fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-It is Gribskov Municipality\u2019s obligation to ensure good and safe infrastructure in the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We started by gathering at the grocery store in Maarum, where a politician and me, Jens Erik Larsen, gave a speech. Next we went and thereby stopped the traffic completely. At Duemose Station we took a break and there Mads, from 9th grade at the nearby school, gave a very nice talk about how unsafe it is to cross the road and how much we lack a bike path. Finally we ended in Kagerup with beer, water and coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now we hope the politicians do something about it and give us the way back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
