The sessions took place at the\nretirement home Nyboderg\u00e5rden where this\noptional activity is part of the weekly schedule for the elderly residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was the first time the six\nstudents tried to ride the bikes who did a great job biking around the city\nwith each other as passengers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training consists not only of learning how to ride and manage the bikes, it is also focusing on the caring relation to the passenger on board. When the students train with each other, they get a sense of the importance to take care of the passenger. The idea is for them to learn about this way of mobility that has a greater purpose \u2013 namely the joy for the elderly to go for a ride in the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/iesalhama.educacion.navarra.es\/web1\/erasmus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/Rickshaw-2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-829\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iesalhama.educacion.navarra.es\/web1\/erasmus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/Rickshaw-2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/iesalhama.educacion.navarra.es\/web1\/erasmus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/Rickshaw-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iesalhama.educacion.navarra.es\/web1\/erasmus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/Rickshaw-2-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The sessions are a part of a pilot-program which is\nplanned for the students in the Erasmus+ Project launched by Foreningen Frie Fugle.\nThe students will eventually be trained to bike with the elderly in the streets\nof the Copenhagen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was coordinated by Signe Weinreich from Foreningen Frie Fugle, who instructed and followed the biking in the city.
