LAG Suduva explains our project in two schools

November 9 day Suduva LAG organize internacional project „Sustainable mobility – a sustainable community“ introducing in Antanavas and Bagotoji schools and invite students to be volunteers. The main idea of this project is promote youth to making soziokultur services to elderly lonely peoples. Project partners from Spain, Denmark and Ireland Have deep volunteers traditions. In order to take care lonely people, they use specific bicycles to make small trip with old people in free time. Ours municipality don’t have good infrastructure and for now we dont have specific bicycles, ours activities will be organize in three directions:  be organizing training for volunteers, making event «Red shoes» ( when we meeting lonly people in houses) and internacional exchange, the meetings in Spain, Denmark and Ireland.

Thanks to Antanavas and Bagotoji schools directors, who allowed us to introducing this project the first time in schools. At Monday the meeting will be in Plutiškė gymnazium. Next week will be start volunteers registracion, in begining of December be organize the conferenc about this project, in this representacion inviting the project partners country embassies members, who introduce about volunteer experience in Denmark, Ireland and Spain.
