BICICLISTAS DE CORELLA

BICICLISTAS DE CORELLA, NAVARRA, SPAIN

Biciclistas de Corella is an association focused on sustainable transport and, more specifically, the promotion of cycling as a means of transport and for recreational purposes. The last five years we have devoted more time and activities to hiking excursions, social inclusion campaigns (fundraisers to buy a tricycle for a handicapped boy) and environmental workshops: bird ringing, tree planting, cleaning river banks, etc.

Biciclistas de Corella is a family-oriented organization, with plenty of inclusive activities where children and elderly people are more than welcome.

There are almost 300 members in our association and seven people on the board. There are no employees and we all are volunteers.

We have been promoting sustainable mobility and, specifically, cycling for 13 years. We have collaborated with the town council and other associations (children and youngsters’ associations like Turrumberos and San Miguel Youth Club) in countless projects related to social inclusion, intergenerational relationships, and community building.
