On the 1st of June, Erasmus project organized a walk on Corella, more than seventy people went to the walk, we walked a part of the sustainable route of the Alhama, that also goes through Cintruénigo and Fitero.
We met at 10 am in Fueros’ square, at first we went to “Estanquilla”, we surrounded all the lake, we saw lot of vegetation and some animals and we stopped to saw the birds balcony and to pick up some rubbish that was on the path. We went to the “Paleton” path, we saw stork’s nests with lot of little storks, we went with Uxue Fabo engineer of agricultural technique of river Ebro and Maria Jose, the responsible of ambiental education of Navarra, they told us some things about the new rout of the Alhama and it’s advantages for Corella and all the zone, also Toño told us about some signation posts that were broken or moved of it’s places.
We passed “El Villar” and we walked through “Camino bajo”, we arrived at the village and we went to the point of start. At the end, we ate typically “tapas” and we drank something on the bars of the square.
We had a nice time walking and interacting with nature and with other people that we didn’t know It was fantastic.
