Wednesday was jam-packed with events, all of us
went to Alhama High School in the morning for the
opening ceremony where we were handed name
tags and a Biciclistas string backpack with maps
and a yellow t-shirt within it. As our correspondents
went of to school the Danish, Irish and the
Lithuanians went off to the Town Hall to meet the
Mayor of the and we learnt all about the work
going on in the town via a translator. We went
back to the school and had a tour around the
facilities before meeting up with our
correspondents for lunch. At the end of the day we
all took part in a dance workshop which left us all in
bits but we were still able to force your way out
to a restaurant that night for a great meal.
We headed of to Olite and Pamplona the next day.
Olite had such a beautiful castle, this castle had a
garden on the second floor thanks to the water
ducts underneath it, the garden was on the second
floor because of the Queen at the time wanted to
be near it as she slept, but she never lived to see
the finished product. We all headed of to
Pamplona were we walked the route of the running
of the bulls festival. We all had lunch at a cafe ( it
looked more like a fancy restaurant!), We headed
off to the Town Hall of Pamplona where the main
festival event happens. The town hall was huge
with more rooms from the one we went to the day
before, we all went off into our own groups to go
into stores to find food before the next event. We
went of to the Palace of Navarra were we were
shown many rooms and beautiful paintings before
departing to head back to Crella for tapas.
The next day we had a kahoot game ot find out
how much we learned over that week before
getting on the bus to go to a the barenas desert
where we had a hot but beautiful walk through the
scenery. We took the bus once more Tudela
where took part in a pottery workshop were sadly
some didnt service, when left Tudela it was pitch
black and we all decided to call it a night.
On our last day we went on a cycle to Virrey
Palafox spa where we
