The trip to Dublin was amazing! First of all, when we arrived at the airport I understood one thing that will be very interesting!
The route from the airport to the residence was intriguing because every time the bus advanced I wanted to know and see more things about the country. There was a lot of vegetation around the road. In the bus we heard some people speak a strange language. It was the modern Gaelic, of Celtic origIn. It was very interesting because in Spain there are also other languages, apart from Spanish.
We met a lot of people from different countries in the youth hostel. It was the best part of the trip!
We did a lot of activities, the best one for me was the day of the world conference on urban biking, Velo-city. It was a beautiful bike ride. I managed to connect with many of the partners. When we arrived at the park together with our mates and friends, we enjoyed and participated in many of the activities: volleyball, stunt performances…
We made new friends, like Kazim, a boy of Turkish origin who represented Denmark. It’s a funny and charming boy. We are still in contact!
I met Ericas from Lithuania, Aivaras, Arnas, Jonas and so many others…
Finally, I can say one thing: invite everyone to visit Dublin because it’s a beautiful city which can be used to relax and disconnect from work and stress. What could I say about the centre of this beautiful city? It’s very cozy and lively, their streets have an old character that gives security and trust to the visitor. The monuments and houses are quite old, which gives it a high historical value. And the most important thing: people are very sociable and friendly. Honestly, I will never get tired of this vibrant city.
