Sudava LAG organized on December 18th a workshop with project “Sustainable mobility – Sustainable community” students.
The main aim was to create original gifts for lonely people. So we made souvenirs that will give more Christmas spirit to their homes. Thanks a lot to all the volunteers who came and helped to create some special gifts for lonely people.
A day later, Antanavas Culture House organized and hosted the Christmas dinner for single and elderly people with the help of Erasmus volunteers. They created full entertaining for single people with dance, songs, performances. Besides, they told the old fairy tale about the Christmas celebration tradition.
It was a special moment when kids told the story and elderly and single people listened quietly, remembering their childhood. And after this story we prepared a surprise for them with our original gifts. They were very happy and grateful for the gifts.
We are very thankful for Antanavas community and child center for giving this opportunity to be part of all this nice celebration. And I hope we keep working together in the future.
