Thirty-five people participated in the bird-ringing workshop that Biciclistas organized on the Alhama river banks on Saturday, February 8th.
We started the workshop at 6:00 setting up the nets to catch the birds. Then we put them in fabric bags to let them breathe and relax. Finally, kids held them, opened the bag, the ornithologist described and wrote the birds’ features (weight, length, age, fat…) and we set the birds free again.
Five Erasmus students participated: Catalina, Bianka, David, Malena and Ilenia.
It was an 8-hour workshop that we enjoyed thoroughly!
