Rebeca Ochoa, a lovely lady, started in 2009 to embellish a patch of derelict land that is right in the way to the cemetery and La Estanca, the favourite recreation place for people from Corella. Over the years, she has turned this neglected corner of our village into a beautiful space that she called «Citizens’ Garden».
A group of girls went to plant trees in the citizens’ garden: Malena, Inés, Bianka, Layla, and Alejandra.
We all had a blast planting, chatting, laughing… Rebeca, the gardener, started taking care of this garden 11 years ago. She’s very fun to be with. Rebeca is such a nice lady.
We had fun and we could give life to some beautiful plants that, hopefully, will become trees in the future. Today in the citizens’ garden there were teamwork, many laughs, and moments that we’ll remember with a big smile.
