My partner Mariale (it’s what we call Alejandra affectionately) and I, Doa, presented a kahoot about Ole Kassow’s TED talk on Cycling Without Age. We squeezed it in the 15-minute weekly meeting we have to stay updated about Erasmus activities and achievements.
Before Christmas Toño asked us what we could do to make Erasmus students watch the video in order to know more about CWA. Devising a very special kahoot was our personal way to approach this awesome international movement.
We learned with Ole’s video a lot about CWA that we ignored. It also inspired us to find out more about the topic. I hope that many more people can be inspired just like us. Creating this kahoot made us think a lot about the meaning of life and how we want to handle it.
There are many elders who unfortunately are in a nursing home and cannot leave, but thanks to CWA they can relive their lives, go on tricycle rides with volunteers, enjoy the wind in their hair… This taught us a lot about being in this world, value life, and live it like never before.
Besides, we must think about the people around us and know that if we have something to give it is better to give it and see the happiness of the people we love. We were so inspired that we decided to interview Ole Kassow in the near future. We’re looking forward to it!
BTW, the kahoot contest was a very exciting event. 17 students participated and the 5 Erasmus teachers and the headmaster joined us. Elaine and Luis were the winners, Ángel and Paloma runners-up and Aitana and Noelia came in the third position. Thanks, folks, for your passion!!!
