THURSDAY 10TH JUNE:
Opening night: 8pm YouTube live welcome -join us live to celebrate the start of the 10th bike fest! Leave your comments and memories, see some greetings from friends of the bike fest from round the world and reminisce some memories of bike fests gone by! The annual ‘Blessing of the bikes’ ceremony will close our event. Then turn off your computer and take a celebratory lap of the town!
FRIDAY 11TH JUNE:
Coffee and Cranks 11.30am YouTube live from the Bike Circus – grab a coffee, log in and join Jack and Graeme talking about the future of the Bike Workshop and taking questions from the comments.
Free Bike Clinic: The Bike Circus: Drop in with your bike from 12-3pm for a free Safety check of your bike
The Big Kids Public Art Project: A collective public art project – watch our instruction video and then make your own customised bike out of jar lids and tetra packs. Make it as funky as you like and drop into the Bike Circus by 3pm today. Prize for the most awesome bike!
The town will be decorated with your art bikes tonight!

Composer Justin Grounds is going to be riding a static bike while making funky improvised music with beats made from bike sounds and clarinet while illustrator Becky Hatchett makes the most awesome digital bike fest art inspired by the sounds…join us to watch this unfold LIVE and in the moment on our YouTube channel.
SATURDAY 12TH JUNE:
Photo Scavenger hunt all day around Clonakilty – there are small ‘art bikes’ all over town! Hop on your bike and find as many as you can, be sure to take a pic with each one. Upload your total found and a few pics to our Facebook page by 5pm, we will ask the top 3 to email in their photos. Prize for the most found!
The Inchydoney Regatta 12-4pm Pop-Up Bike Circus in car park at bottom of hill.
Dress in your finest attire and cycle out with your friends or family to drop into our new mobile bike workshop and photo booth for a complimentary bottle of water, bike bell, bike safety check and have your portrait taken with your bike by photographer Anna Groniecka for our ten year photo gallery!
Coffee Outside Challenge – Coffee Outside Clon is a fun instagram movement encouraging people to head out on their bikes to beautiful places in our area with their camp stove and favourite coffee making kit and enjoy a coffee together outside.

Film Night 8pm YouTube Live: Join us online for a celebration of Paddy Cahill’s short films. Paddy was an acclaimed film director and passionate bike advocate from Dublin who sadly passed away earlier this year.
SUNDAY 13TH JUNE:
Zoom Fractal Mandelbrot ride 11am (Irish Time) wherever you are!
We all head out solo but zoom brings us together! After a year of being in boring meetings on zoom, let’s use it a bit differently to have some fun, and discover a new route. Everyone starts on their bike wherever they are in the world, and joins a zoom call on their phone. The host of the call will tell the directions to take, and we will follow…all on different fractal routes. Using a mapping app we can share our route and then use google maps to get home again! If you are up for the zoom craic and aren’t afraid to venture into unknown paths, sign up for this ride by emailing clonbikefest@gmail.com
