Our project keeps surprising… even ourselves. Last Saturday, we organized a environment working day for volunteers in Erasmus Park. 60 people participated.

ADISCO, an NGO that employs 105 persons with disabilities contributed 20 volunteers. It was a great moment to interact with them, get to know them and enjoy each other’s company.

We planted almond, cherry and pomegranate trees (20 of each, 60 overall). Besides, we planted rosemary, thyme and lavender.

Ten Erasmus students pitched in with all the tasks: planting, watering, carrying stuff…

We set up two insect houses to study the life of those key animals in nature.
To top it all, Víctor Mayor, a beekeeper from Cascante, explained the life of bees, the nature cycle and how important bees are to polinate plants. The kids loved it!
